What's Wildwood?

We are a family of 5, John and Brandi, married 25 years and we have 3 children. Our daughter is away at college and we still have two boys at home, 15 and 17 who are homeschooled. We recently sold our house near Georgetown in order to downsize, move further out to the country, and start a simpler life. We love the area in between Austin and Houston and started looking for the right place to build a new home. We found beautiful land in Texas between Caldwell and Rockdale and were delighted to learn it was covered in wild Yaupon Holly trees that we could use to make tea. We were already excited to start beekeeping and, and that just seemed like the perfect, meant-to-be combination that we are having so much fun doing! We inherited a few bee colonies with the property but can't wait to get a lot more going this spring!

Along with those two things, we are also starting our vintage home goods resale business and learning to grow herbs and fruits for our teas and other wellness products to come in the future.

So, I had the idea of incorporating all 3- the bees, the wild teas, and the goods, all sourced by us or raised and harvested here at what we have now dubbed "Wildwood." So there you have it, Wildwood Home Goods.

We proudly support our local economy, other makers, and are learning how to be more environmentally conscious and harvest as responsibly as possible.
